July's ATL Top Pitcher is Platinum Sheppard Wednesday, August 1st , 2068 Bruce Sheppard took a much-deserved turn in the spotlight earlier today as he accepted the Atlantic League Pitcher of the Month award for July. The 21-year-old Platinum starter is a relative newcomer to the league, but nonetheless racked up an impressive 5-0 won-lost record in 6 starts. This month he fanned 44 batters in 37.2 innings and compiled a 2.15 ERA. This year Sheppard has compiled a 9-7 mark with a 3.50 ERA in 21 starts. |
