St. Augustine Clinches Wild Card Monday, August 19th , 2069 The St. Augustine Crusade certainly made things interesting. The Pacifiic League Northern Division club have battled to the bitter end and have come up with a wild card berth. "It's satisfying to clinch the playoffs so late in the season," said starting pitcher Chun-mei Zou. "You start to doubt yourself and wonder if you can even make it." But the Crusade have in fact made it, with their 79-42 record holding up to now give them a chance at the franchise's 2nd POTD Double A championship. |
