Hard work, long hours and a tireless resolve paid off for him today in the form of the Atlantic League AA Diamond Hitter Award.
González hit for a .346 average while collecting 159 hits, 14 doubles, 2 triples, 21 home runs, 76 RBIs and scoring 104 times.
