Dayton Loses 2B Castro, Suspended by League Thursday, July 16th , 2065 Dayton second baseman Sergio Castro was suspended 4 games by the league office for throwing his bat and helmet after he was ejected for arguing with the plate umpire following a strikeout. The incident occurred in yesterday's game between the Diamonds and the Offshore Gamblers at Steel Hounds Ballpark. So far this year, Castro is batting .292 with 10 home runs and 41 RBIs. |
